Why Buy a Sports Exhaust from Wheels 'N Customs?
A car is only truly complete with a great-sounding, high-quality exhaust system. We are not just a web shop passing on boxes; we are an official supplier and installation centre in Nijkerk. We have direct lines to the factories in England and Germany, resulting in extremely fast delivery of your system.
In our fully equipped workshop we provide the expert, vibration-free installation of your new exhaust. From a simple rear silencer upgrade to complex, performance-focused Turbo-Back systems with sport catalytic converters.
Milltek is by far the most popular and desired exhaust brand in the tuning world, and with good reason! They develop systems from the very highest quality T304 aerospace-grade stainless steel. A Milltek system guarantees a noticeable performance gain, sublime fitment and the best tailpipe finishes (Carbon, Cerakote Black or Polished tips).
Eisenmann is the absolute pinnacle when it comes to traditional German “Handgemacht” quality. They became world-famous as the go-to supplier for iconic Porsches, BMW M models and AMG vehicles. Eisenmann exhausts are renowned for their phenomenal, deep resonance and distinctive, heavy roar.
Fox offers the perfect balance between trusted German build quality and excellent value for money. All Fox sports exhausts are produced from 100% high-grade V2A stainless steel. Fox also has a huge range, even for less common car models.
The most accessible system. Here, only the rear silencer (with the tailpipe trims) is replaced. This provides a neater rear-end styling and a slight, sporty improvement in sound, without immediately paying top dollar.
This is the most popular upgrade! A Cat-Back (Catalyst-Back) replaces the car’s entire exhaust line from the original catalytic converter to the rear. Because the factory catalytic converter is retained, you won’t get faults. A Cat-Back delivers a huge sound upgrade, better flow and a small performance gain.
For those who want maximum power. With a Turbo-Back, the entire exhaust, including the Downpipe (front pipe at the turbo), is replaced. The original (restrictive) catalytic converter is removed or replaced by a High-Flow Sport Catalytic Converter. This results in the loudest sound, faster turbo spool-up times and the highest possible hp gains (does require remapping/software adjustment).
A sports exhaust from the catalytic converter back (a Cat-Back or Axle-back) such as a Resonated Milltek or Fox exhaust is in 99% of cases simply APK approved, as long as it is gas-tight and does not extremely exceed the legal noise limits. However, if you change the front catalytic converter (with a decat downpipe), the car will no longer meet the CO2/Four-gas measurement requirements of the APK. A downpipe with HJS Sport Catalytic Converter (200 cell) is generally APK-proof once the catalytic converter is up to temperature.
Because we are an official supplier, you benefit from the full factory warranty on manufacturing defects or cracks in the stainless steel. Milltek, for example, even offers a lifetime warranty for the first owner! On our professional installation in Nijkerk we provide a standard 1-year warranty on sealing and mounting.
When fitting an Axle-back or Cat-Back system, software adjustment (remapping) is absolutely not necessary. The engine management (ECU) can handle this perfectly by itself. However, if you go for a Downpipe (replacing the catalytic converter), it is necessary to rewrite the engine software (“Stage 2”) to prevent a check engine light and to unlock the extra power.
