2. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the difference in ride comfort with Eibach springs?

Eibach uses progressive springs in both lines. This means that when driving calmly the car feels comfortable and bumps are smoothly absorbed by the softer parts of the spring. However, the springs become stiffer and more direct the harder you load the car in corners. This way you enjoy comfort on the motorway and sharpness on winding roads.

Should the car be aligned after lowering?

Yes, absolutely! As soon as a car’s ride height changes (by fitting lowering springs or a coilover kit), the toe and camber of the wheels change. To prevent uneven tyre wear and unsafe handling, it is necessary to realign the car after installation. This is included in our installation indication.
