KW Height-Adjustable Springs (HAS)

When it comes to premium chassis technology, KW Suspensions has been the global market leader and innovator for over 20 years. At Wheels 'N Customs, we supply and install KW's unique height-adjustable spring kits, allowing you to lower your car steplessly while retaining the original shock absorbers.

The key facts:
The KW HAS (Height Adjustable Springs) kits combine the advantage of a fixed lowering spring with the immense flexibility of a coilover kit. You can adjust your vehicle's ride height steplessly and with millimetre precision within the tested range. The original adaptive or electronic damper system (such as DCC or EDC) remains fully active and error-free.

1. Why Choose KW HAS Springs?

Stepless and Continuous Lowering

Similar to a traditional coilover kit, the height-adjustable KW springs enable continuous lowering within a wide range. This is impossible with conventional lowering springs. The supplied dust protection elements and elastomer spring seats are always specifically matched to this maximum lowering.

Perfectly Harmonised Spring Rates

KW uses only high-quality springs made from chrome-silicon steel. These springs are tailored in spring rate to the specific vehicle, matching the standard shock absorber and wheel load. As a result, the springs harmonise perfectly with your car's original (often adaptive) damper characteristics.

2. The KW Quality Benchmark

With KW you are not buying a standard universal kit, but a bespoke chassis solution that often outperforms the original:

Quality Standard Description
Nürburgring Tested KW engineers develop vehicle-specific setups during extensive test cycles on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and on their in-house 7-post test rig.
German Quality Every KW kit undergoes gruelling stress tests at headquarters in Fichtenberg (Germany).
OEM+ Standard Because KW exceeds the strict quality standards of the original car manufacturers, you benefit from extreme durability and safety.

Installation of your KW HAS Springs

€ 356,- to € 448,- including VAT

The above price refers solely to the indicative installation cost of a set of height-adjustable springs and includes 3D wheel alignment of your vehicle after installation.

Note: The exact installation hours depend on the condition of the vehicle. The hours will be billed afterwards. Your vehicle must always remain with us for at least 1 working day for installation. Additional costs may be charged for calibrating electronic dampers.

3. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Will my electronic/adaptive damping continue to work?

Yes, absolutely! Because we install KW's bespoke system with vehicle-specific spring perches onto your existing shock absorbers, the standard damper system (including all electronic or hydraulic controls) remains 100% error-free and active.

What is the advantage compared to regular lowering springs?

With regular lowering springs (e.g. 30mm) you are stuck with a single fixed height. Does the car end up just a touch too high or too low for your taste in practice? Then you can't change it anymore. With the KW HAS spring kit you can simply turn the spring collar after installation to adjust the height (the stance) steplessly and exactly to your preference.
