If brake dust remains on the wheel for too long, the hot metal dust irreversibly burns into the paint layer. With a professional ceramic glass coating from Wheels 'N Customs you provide your wheels with an exceptionally strong, heat-resistant barrier that easily repels dirt and brake dust.

Have your new alloy wheels treated with a ceramic glass coating in our Nijkerk workshop before fitting. Because the wheels are still 100% new and unused, the coating bonds optimally, right down into the rim well and the spokes, for a long-lasting deep gloss and protection!

What Is a Ceramic Glass Coating? A glass coating for wheels is a liquid polymer based on silicon dioxide (SiO2). After careful application and curing, the polymer forms a glass-hard, invisible protective layer over the wheel’s clear coat or powder coating. Unlike traditional car wax or sealants, which disappear after a few washes or due to the heat from braking, a ceramic glass coating withstands temperatures up to 800°C. This keeps the protective layer intact, even under heavy braking or on the track.

• Prevents Burnt-in Brake Dust & Salt Damage: Hot brake dust from the pads can reach temperatures of hundreds of degrees. Without coating, these iron particles bake into the finish. The glass coating creates a shield to which brake dust, road salt and brine cannot adhere.
• Extremely Water- and Dirt-repellent (Hydrophobic): Thanks to the coating’s very high surface tension, water and liquid grime bead and run straight off the wheel (the well-known 'beading'). Dirt no longer takes hold on the smooth surface.
• Washing Without Aggressive Acidic Wheel Cleaners: Aggressive, acid-based wheel cleaners will, over time, attack the paint and the centre caps. A coated wheel is easy to clean with a mild car shampoo, warm water and a soft microfibre mitt.
• Enhances the Gloss & Protects the Colour: A glass coating wonderfully brings out the depth of high-gloss paints, metallics and matt black finishes. In addition, the coating contains UV filters that prevent discolouration from the sun.
